High St Founder Kurt found us via our mates at Happy Hungry (word-of-mouth referrals make us feel like rockstars, for real.) As an expert in the health space, Kurt was looking for a web design partner to match his vision… and that’s where we came in. The Digital Moves X High St collab sang in a new era for their urban dispensary and holistic health clinic, serving as the perfect introduction to their upcoming physical clinic in Enmore, NSW.

High St’s goal was to change the holistic healthcare narrative and bring a forward-thinking, warm and nostalgic feel to a space that is clinical, but doesn’t need to look that way. First, we placed High St on the map: Developing a custom website and development on Squarespace that was inspired by the ‘60s, a time of protests and a movement for peace, love and personal freedom – this was apt for the messaging of reducing stigma with holistic care and alternative medicine prescriptions. We reintegrated the site with MediRecords, making it easy for new and existing clients to book a consultation. We also blazed up the site with loads of educational resources, so new and future clients could easily find everything they need to get started. 

For user experience (UX) inspiration, we researched what Australian market leaders were doing to see what we could learn and take in a new direction. We explored brands and businesses outside of the healthcare space that inspired a retro, nostalgic and rebellious feel. The result is a fresh, vibrant and 60s-inspired website that tells new clients what the High St brand is all about – a streetwise approach to health that’s tailored to you. 

An exciting new e-commerce phase is currently in the works, where we’ll help the High St team showcase their merch and in-house prescriptions. Watch this space!
