Top tips for displaying your content on your Squarespace website

  1. Break it up, a users first instinct when seeing a massive block of text is eye roll and if you’ve invested in a copywriter or poured your soul into your copy, your visitors are literally just going to skim past it. Use different sections to spread it out, don’t be afraid of some scrolling activity. It allows visitors the space to marinate on your words before reading the next.
    LET. IT. SINK. IN.

  2. Use different font styles and sizing. Emphasise with heading fonts, highlight with different font styles like bold or italic. Adds some personality to what can be just words on a screen.

  3. Keep your paragraphs short. It helps to read it out loud. If you had to take a breath before a full stop, then you probably need to check your paragraph structure. Plus it helps your copy readable!

  4. Stand-out CTAs. Make them obvious and stylish. This forms the digital journey for your visitors. So give them a colour or animation rather then blending into the rest of your written content.
